Senior Training....Friday nights from 6.30pm will include a mix of Drills/Speed/Hurdles/High Jump. Sun morning from 10.30am will be a mix of Flexibility/Drills/long Jump/Shot

Summer Evenings....they are on the way. Senior Athletes: Are you thinking of making a return to athletics, why not come over and join us for a few training sessions, you will be made feel very welcome and it goes without saying your level will be catered for. If your interests are not initially for individual events, there are a number of upcoming team and relay competitions. Our facilities are also available for use by clubs and individuals. All are welcome, just go to the track any evening @ 7pm or contact Joe Barry @ 087 76 90 145

New York Marathon...Congratulations to Templemore athlete Mick Delahunty on completing the marathon in a very good time of 03.13...click for results enter athlete no. as 10201 for split times etc.

Road Relays...click for results..Templemore A.C was represented at this event by James Maher who ran the mile in 5.03 for W.I.T and Joe Barry who ran the mile in 5.32 for C.I.T

Nenagh Indoor Track...The only fully equipped Indoor running track in the South...

AAI Games...We had two athletes competing in Castleisland at the weekend

Stephen o' Riordan: High jump: 1st

Joe Barry: 110m Hurdles: 3rd in a new PB of 17.58

National Relays...This event was run in conjunction with the AAI Games, the above athletes between them won four gold (2 x High Jump, 2 x Triple Jump) & two silver medals in the 2 x long Jump. The result was reached by taking both athletes distances or heights and adding them together.

Munster Track & Field 2010...The third and final weekend of the juvenile T & F was held in C.I.T on Sat/Sun the 19th & 20th June. Templemore claimed another title this weekend in the boys u17 shot putt..congratulations to Sean Kelly...Tipp results

Woodies DIY u12-19 championships...This years Nationals were held in Tullamore Harriers Stadium. Templemore AC were proudly represented by Aoife Delargy in the u14 800m where she finished in 8th position with a time of 02.31..results..for 3rd & 4th July Sean Kelly also represented the club in the boys u17 shot putt where he finished a very credible 6th overall with a throw of 10.14m...results...for the 24th July. Congratulations to all our athletes on this years achievements. looking forward to next year already

Gala Summer BBQ...This years fundraiser will again be held in the Spinning wheel bar, Main St Templemore on Sun Aug 1st from 5-8pm. Please support as all proceeds will go towards the new hammer & Discus cage which is planned to be installed by March 2011. The cost of this project is c.€30'000 of which the club must raise €10'000. As last yrs event was so successful very little will change in the format, there will be plenty of food for all. The cost to support this event is €10 per individual or €20 per family (2 adults, 4 children) see photos from last yrs event......photos

County Snr Track & Field...Templemore AC hosted this years event. The star of the show was Sonny Dwyer in the mens 100m, this achievement was closely followed by James Mahers double in the 800 & 1500m. Other athletes to mention are Paul Walsh who won the mens o35 5000m on his debut to T & F and to Ger Ryan who ran a great leg in the 4x100m & immediately afterwards ran 200m for the club in the medley relay. This was Ger's first race on the track since winning the intermediate Irish schools 4x100m in 1994. congrats to all....results

Cork Graded..The club also had athletes on duty in cork on Fri. night at the second installment of the cork graded league. Two SBs on the night >> James Maher ran 2:05 in the 800m & Joe Barry ran 11:60 in the 100m...results

News >> Congratulations to all the club members involved in successfully dealing with the heavy schedule laid on this weekend, namely the AAI Juvenile team event on Sat 26th June & the County Community Games on Sun 26th, I believe both events were a great success...results. Also special mention to Jack Fallon & David Ryan on their National title & their club mates from Moycarkey Coolcroo who took home medals at the weekend, well done.
